Wise women award

the Wise Women Awards in October 2019. October is Women’s History month and a wonderful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the women building our communities, the Northwest Territories, and a strong North.

These awards are meant to honour women who are role models in their communities, as well as recognize their dedication and commitment to improving the status of women. The Wise Women Awards are intended to encourage and celebrate women, in particular those who contribute to the Council’s mandate of advancing equality of women in the territory.
